Being an Independent Celebrant means that I am always eager to share knowledge.
Almost everyday when people find out what I do, the conversation gets around mainly to ‘Death & Dying’ of which the information is endless and people, all people are intrigued and want to know more. Everyone has questions, I like to do some ‘myth-busting’ and of course give advice.
Everyone should be more aware of their own mortality – not in a morbid way but in a practical way. It’s not just about having a legal Will & Power of Attorney. It’s so much more. There are choices to make and those decisions should be informed decisions. There is plenty to research and think about. If you were buying a house or car, getting married or going on holiday you would research it, you would personalise it and you would want to know you are getting best value and best practice for your money. So why not with funerals?
I offer inspiring and thought provoking talks and presentations to liberate people from the ‘taboo’ of talking about death & funerals. If you have a group or organisation – however small or big – contact me to find out more and book a date with death…
